So let’s find out a little more about Muykean!
“I’m from Cambodia. I moved to the United States in 2011. My work experiences were all in the food business, but it wasn’t something I wanted to do in the future. I talked to my sister who is a Pharmacy Technician in Seattle,” says Muykean. “She told me about her work experience in pharmacy and how she liked her job. I decided to give it a try, so I looked up pharmacy training online and found Bay Area Medical Academy.”
“All the staff members are very helpful and friendly. I remember I got nervous on my first day of school because I didn’t know what to expect. Being a Pharmacy Technician is a complete new path for me. But Ms. Linda, my instructor, made me feel comfortable in her class. She is a good instructor. She makes sure each and everyone of us knows how much responsibility it is to be a Pharmacy Technician because we have patient’s lives in the palms of our hands. I’ve learnt a lot from this program. Choosing Bay Area Medical Academy is the best decision I’ve ever made.”
